You will always find a good selection of standard trailers in our yard. The smaller ones generally, 6' X 4', 7' X 4', 7' X 4'6" and 7' X 5', come in three different grades, so that you will find one to suit your exact needs. Regardless of duty our trailers all have long draw bars made from 75 X 50 mm box section, and are fitted with mud flaps.
Our standard duty trailers are fitted with flat sheet floors and 3 leaf springs. They are perfect for the person who wants an economical unit which can handle light duties, such as visits to the tip, collection and moving of furniture, and transport of camping gear, to name but a few.
Our Heavy Duty trailers have checker plate floors and 5 leaf springs, and can handle heavy loads such as yard supplies, slabs etc. These are the best choice if you make frequent trips and carry dense loads.
Our Galvanised trailers are the same as the heavy duty, but they are hot dip galvanised to ensure they will offer many years of trouble free service. These are the right choice for people who live by the sea, and for those who regularly transport sand, gravel etc. These trailers can endure neglect much better than the others. They make good tradesman's trailers.
A full range of extras can be supplied to customise your trailer. The most common of these are, galvanised mesh cages, tradesman's tops, and jockey wheels.
When choosing a trailer, please bear in mind a few general rules.
1. Trailers, when loaded, must way less than 750 kgs gross, unless they are fitted with brakes.
2. Trailers fitted with brakes can weigh a maximum of 2 tonnes, unless they are fitted with special break away systems.
3. Always consider the towing capabilities of your vehicle before buying a trailer.
4. Remember that towing alters the way in which you vehicle performs. Be cautious, and drive safely at all times.
